Prom Packages Information

IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS: No matter what the year or model limousine or picture a limousine company may display on their website, ALWAYS make an appointment for a closer look to make sure you are ultimately satisfied with what you are getting. It is wise to actually visit the limousine rental company before you decide to rent to actually look at the limousine and view their operation. The vehicle may look stunning on the outside, however LOOK IN THE LIMOUSINE you will be renting so there will be no unexpected surprises (ie broken air-condition / heating units, ripped seats, cracked bar, "what's that smell?", does the company keep their vehicles presentable?, etc.)

Also, make sure the contract the company makes you sign (there should be a contract at booking, not just a request for a credit card number) when reserving has at least the vehicle name and passenger capacity written on the contract. The last thing you want is to go look at a 2008 Hummer limousine but instead get a 1998 Lincoln Town Car sedan limousine on the day of your event. ***Simply giving your credit card number over the phone to hold a vehicle for a certain date DOES NOT guarantee that you will get that vehicle for your event.***

SPLIT-TIME

Split-Time Packages make limousine service more affordable for customers who are attending big events like dances, meetings and concerts. Having the diversity of hourly as well as the package pricing formats allows Metropolitan Limousines to save the customer money by charging only for what time that is actually used.

Criteria for split-time packages

Your event must last a minimum of three hours. Your event must also be in the local area for split-time pricing to be cost effective because travel charges will be added to travel to and return from events outside the primary service area. If your event is in our extended service area, it can sometimes prove less expensive to keep the limousine at the event. The longer the duration of the event, the more sense it makes to choose split time pricing. Your occasion should have a conclusion that is not open-ended. Some flexibility is allowed when you are using a "one-hour" minimum, but unless the drop-off location is very close in proximity, you will need to be punctual. You can add flexibility to the back end of a split-time charter by extending the time by one hour. This will permit an extended cruise before your conclusion.

Local service area includes the Greater Rochester Monroe County area [Greece, Gates, Chili, Henrietta, Brighton, Pittsford, Perinton, Fairport, Penfield, Webster, Irondequoit, and the city of Rochester]. The extended service area is anywhere outside of the local service areas' borders.
